Terms of service

These terms are a contract between you and the operator of ilike2moveitmoveit.com, doing business as MoveIt for use of MoveIt. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Additional policies are incorporated: Privacy, Acceptable use, Refunds, Cookies.

1. The service

MoveIt provides household moving inventory, labels, mover scan pages, search, and related tools. It is not a moving company, not insurance, and not a guarantee that items will not be lost or damaged in transit.

2. Accounts

You must be 18, provide accurate information, and keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for people you invite (packers, viewers, movers). Household break-glass passwords, if enabled by the operator, are a shared secret — treat them as such.

3. Your content

You retain rights to photos, voice, and inventory you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process (including via AI subprocessors), display, and backup that content solely to operate MoveIt. You represent you have the right to upload it and that it does not violate the acceptable use policy.

4. AI

Automatic labels can be wrong. You are responsible for checking names, values, and serials before relying on them for insurance or customs. Cloud AI can be disabled per account.

5. Public scan links

QR tokens are unguessable but not access-controlled beyond secrecy of the URL. Do not print PRIVATE contents on a label. Regenerating a token invalidates old stickers.

6. Paid features

Free use is limited (boxes and photographed items). A per-move purchase unlocks that move. Optional home-inventory billing may be offered. Taxes are calculated by Stripe. See refunds.

7. Acceptable use and suspension

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, the acceptable use policy, or the law, or that threaten other users or the service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF MOVEIT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use, or your violation of these terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer law in your home country says otherwise. Venue: state or federal courts in New Jersey.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Terms version: 2026-08-31.
