- What is MoveIt?
- MoveIt is a packing system for a household move. You photograph items as they go into a box, print Avery labels with QR codes, and search the inventory later — including on moving day when a mover scans a box.
- Does AI have to see my photos?
- Cloud AI (OpenAI) is on by default so photos and voice notes can be labeled automatically. You can turn cloud AI off in Settings. Packing never waits on AI: photos save immediately and metadata arrives later.
- Can movers see what is inside my boxes?
- No, not by default. A public QR scan shows destination room and handling flags. You choose per box whether to hide the room, show a summary, or keep the box private.
- Do I need the native app?
- The web app is the full product, including Avery PDFs and moving-day packets. An Android app covers packing, scanning, and search. Print and reports stay on the web.
- How much does it cost?
- A free move includes 10 boxes and 50 photographed items. Unlock a single move for $29 to print labels, export, and use Ask MoveIt without those caps. Keeping a home inventory after the move is optional.
- Can I export or delete my data?
- Yes. Settings includes CSV, JSON, and a full account export. You can delete your account from Settings or /delete-account. We honor a 30-day grace period, then permanently erase inventory, photos, and backups we control.
- Will my printed QR codes still work if I change domains?
- Labels encode the scan URL at print time. Older stickers that point at the previous Vercel host keep working. New labels use ilike2moveitmoveit.com.
